Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Paddle Access Only
There's no real ramp here — this is a canoe and kayak put-in/take-out spot on the Jordan River. Don't show up expecting to back a trailer down to the water. You're carrying your boat a short distance to the river's edge.
Popular Float Endpoint
Most people use this as a take-out point for Jordan River float trips. On summer weekends, you'll see kayaks and canoes stacking up here mid-afternoon as the guided trips and day-paddlers finish their runs. Morning is quieter if you're fishing.
Parking Is Tight
Only two trailer spots, and that's generous wording — it's really just a small gravel pulloff near the bridge. If a couple trucks with canoe trailers from an outfitter are already there, you're out of luck. Get there early or have a backup plan.
Vault Toilet On Site
There's a vault-style bathroom here, which is a pleasant surprise for such a small access point. Considering how remote some Jordan River spots are, this is a nice perk that makes it a solid rest stop during a longer paddle.
Solid Fishing Spot
The Jordan River near the bridge holds some nice trout. Wade fishing from this access works well — the river is narrow and manageable. It's a quiet stretch compared to the more popular sections closer to the outfitters upstream.
