The Upper Arm's Best-Kept Facility
Two concrete lanes, a launch dock, 18 paved spots and flush restrooms — free and open around the clock. For the upper Chattahoochee arm's stump fields and grass lines this is the serious launch, and it stayed open right through the October 2025 federal shutdown that closed the Corps parks.
Between the Ferries
Parramore Road drops you on the river bend between Arnold's old ferry crossing and Buena Vista's steamboat landing — quiet water where the lake still fishes like the river it was.
