Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
The Scenic Small-Boat Door
Inside the $3 state park: one lane, fixed dock, four trailer spots, 8-to-sunset gates. Perfect for jon boats, canoes and kayaks working the timbered shoreline; wrong for the 21-foot glitter rocket — the park says so itself and points bigger craft to the county ramps on its boundaries.
Camp on the Lake
This is the Florida side's lakefront campground — cabins and campsites on high bluffs over Seminole, plus a 100-foot fishing pier in the campground and a campers-only canoe launch. The classic play: camp here, fish out of Sneads or Howell's.
