Crowding No visitation figures are published. The ramp shares a 354-acre park with a dog park, playground, fitness area, eight picnic shelters and a six-mile trail, so a weekend crowd here is mostly not boaters. The gas-motor ban filters out trailered wake boats; the free launch cuts the other way.

The county's ramp roster line: "Small Ramp for Boats without Gas Motors – No Permit Required." Elsewhere the county's pay stations charge $6 a day and the annual Boat & Beach Pass runs $117.70 with tax; Walsingham and John S. Taylor are the only two freshwater ramps on the free side. FWC's record agrees: no fee.

The binding rule is FWC's: "Gasoline motors may not be used on boats." The county calls the facility "Non-Combustion Engine," which reads as permitting battery power, but no page affirmatively says electric is allowed — and FWC's inventory name "Non-Motorized" is stricter than the rule either agency publishes. The reservoir's outfall is a road culvert under Walsingham Road into a ditch reach toward Taylor Lake — a route for water, not boats. Nothing launched here reaches Boca Ciega Bay or the Intracoastal, and the gas ban moots the question for trailered craft anyway.
