Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
The 24-Hour Door
Two concrete lanes and a staging dock off Memorial Boulevard, free, open around the clock — Lake Parker's dawn-patrol and night-fishing launch, run by the city with FWC partnership.
The Other Sertoma
Name care, Polk County edition: this is Lakeland's Sertoma Park — not Winter Haven's Lake Shipp Park, which locals also call Sertoma, eleven miles east on a different lake. Two public Sertomas, one county; confirm the lake before trusting anyone's pin or report.
South-Shore Start
The plant-side pier water and southeast crappie corner are minutes from this ramp — in the cool months, that's the shortest run to the lake's most famous panfish spot.
