Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Narrow Road In
The access road is a single lane the whole way in, so if someone's coming out while you're pulling in, one of you is backing up. Not a big deal most days, but on a Saturday morning it can get awkward fast with trailers.
Small Lot Fills Quick
You're looking at maybe 7-10 truck-and-trailer combos fitting comfortably, depending on how people park. For a weekend morning in summer, get there early or you're out of luck — there's no real overflow area to speak of.
Hard Surface Ramp
The ramp is hard surface and in decent shape for a single-lane launch on a small lake. Fine for aluminum boats and smaller fiberglass rigs. Don't expect to launch anything over 18 feet without some maneuvering.
Kayak Paradise Mornings
If you paddle, this is the spot for early mornings. Small, quiet lake with good wildlife — deer along the shoreline, herons, the works. Get out there before the fishing boats start buzzing around and it's really something.
Outhouse Only
There's a vault toilet on-site that's been updated, but it's still very much an outhouse. Don't expect running water or anything fancy — plan accordingly if you're bringing the family.
