Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Steep Road Entry
The entrance off the road drops sharply — if your trailer has low ground clearance, you're going to scrape. Take it at an angle if you can, and be ready for a rough transition where the ramp meets the pavement.
Six Spots, That's It
With only 6 trailer spots and a single lane, this place hits capacity fast on summer weekends. If you show up and there are already six rigs parked, you're out of luck — there's no real overflow area to speak of.
Decent Ramp Setup
They added a launching pier which makes solo launches way easier, and the concrete slab extends into the water nicely. It's a small lake setup but functional for smaller boats and kayaks.
Weedy Bass Lake
Selkirk Lake has a solid population of smallish bass, but the weed spraying keeps the vegetation thinned out more than you'd expect. If you're fishing, work the edges where cover survives — that's where the fish stack up.
