Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tight Squeeze In
The access area is really cramped — if you're bringing anything bigger than a 14-foot jon boat, you're going to have a tough time maneuvering. Back in carefully because there's almost no room to correct your angle.
Deep Drop At Ramp
There's a deep hole right out in front of the launch. Great if you need depth to get off the trailer cleanly, but it catches people off guard if you're wading or guiding the boat by hand. The bottom drops fast.
Two-Spot Parking Reality
Two trailer spots means exactly that — if someone else is there, you're done. On weekends during bass season, showing up after 7 AM is a coin flip. There's no real overflow option nearby.
Small Water, Decent Bass
This is a small, quiet lake that holds bass and catfish. Don't expect a trophy fishery, but if you want solitude on a little Allegan County lake where you might have the whole place to yourself on a Tuesday morning, it delivers.
