Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Quick & Quiet
Single lane, ten trailer spots, and honestly that's all you need here. Middle Lake is small and doesn't draw big crowds, so you're almost never waiting to launch — even on a Saturday morning.
Shore Fishing Bonus
There's a surprising amount of accessible shoreline right around the launch area. If you've got a buddy who wants to fish from the bank while you take the boat out, this is one of the better setups for that.
Pike & Panfish Water
This lake produces solid pike, bass, crappie, and bluegill. It's a quieter alternative to some of the more hammered lakes in Branch County, so the fish see less pressure.
Keep It Small
This is a small lake launch — perfectly fine for jon boats, kayaks, and modest bass boats. Don't roll in here with a 21-foot walleye rig expecting a roomy experience. One lane, tight turnaround, plan accordingly.
