Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tight Parking Squeeze
Only 9 trailer spots and big rocks line the edges of the lot, making it genuinely tricky to maneuver a trailer in and out. If someone's parked poorly, you're doing a 12-point turn.
Rarely a Wait
Single lane, but this lake sees so little pressure that you'll almost never have someone queued up behind you. Weekday mornings you might be the only person there all day.
Good for Pontoons
The ramp grade is gentle enough that loading and unloading a pontoon is straightforward, even solo. Decent depth at the end of the ramp in summer — no scraping bottom to get off the trailer.
Small Quiet Lake
This is a Branch County Craig Lake, not the famous Upper Peninsula one in Baraga County. Don't confuse the two when planning a trip — this is a modest little lake off back roads, no wilderness trek required.
