Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Rough Driveway In
The access road is pretty beat up — potholes and uneven gravel that'll rattle your trailer. Take it slow, especially with a lower vehicle. It's not long, but it's noticeable.
Never A Wait
Single lane, but it genuinely doesn't matter here. Seven trailer spots and the lake is small enough that you're rarely competing with anyone. Weekend mornings I've pulled up and been the only one there.
Small Lake Sweet Spot
This is a 14-foot aluminum or kayak kind of lake — don't bring anything big. The upside is zero boat traffic stress, clear water, and solid panfish action. Pike are in there too, though mostly small ones.
No Shore Fishing Room
If you're thinking about fishing from the bank, there's almost nowhere to set up. You really need a boat or kayak to make this lake work. The dock is fine for launching but not designed for posting up with a rod.
