Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
No Dock Here
There's no dock at this ramp, so plan on getting your feet wet. You'll need to wade in to load/unload passengers, or beach the boat on the shore. Not a big deal in summer, but early spring launches can be chilly.
Parking Is Fine
Only 10 trailer spots on paper, but honestly it rarely fills up. Dewey Lake doesn't draw big crowds even on weekends. I've never had to circle or wait for a spot.
Great Quick Launch
Single lane, but the ramp is well maintained and the approach is easy — no tight turns or tricky angles. Perfect for an after-work paddle or a quick evening fishing trip. You can be on the water in five minutes flat.
Small Lake, Limited Shore Access
This is a compact lake, so don't expect much in the way of bank fishing near the launch. It's really set up for getting a boat or kayak in the water. Bring something that floats or you'll be disappointed.
