Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Dirt Ramp Only
There's no concrete here — it's a dirt launch, plain and simple. Fine for small boats, canoes, and kayaks, but don't try backing a heavy rig down there or you'll be digging ruts, especially after rain.
Shallow Near Shore
The water at the ramp is not deep. If you're running anything with a lower unit that drafts more than a couple feet, you'll want to tilt up and idle out carefully. Jon boats and light aluminum are the sweet spot here.
Tiny Lot, Low Pressure
Six trailer spots is all you get, but this lake barely sees traffic. It's the kind of place you can show up midday on a Saturday and still have it mostly to yourself.
Old-School Rural Launch
This site has been a public access since 1955 and honestly not much has changed. No frills, no amenities, just a quiet little Cass County lake with easy road access. If you want solitude over convenience, this is your spot.
