Connected Waterways
The Black River flows through the town of Cheboygan and empties into Lake Huron at the northern tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. The shallow river mouth channel connects inland paddling waters directly to the big lake, though sand buildup makes the transition tricky for larger boats.
