Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Ramp Needs Work
The ramp is functional but showing its age — cracked concrete and some sediment buildup near the waterline. Give it a look before you back in, especially later in the season.
Tiny Lot Fills Fast
Only 10 trailer spots, so on a summer Saturday you might roll up to a full lot by mid-morning. This is a small, quiet lake — plan for an early launch or a weekday trip.
Small Lake Character
Lancaster is one of those tucked-away Cheboygan County lakes that doesn't draw big crowds. Perfect for a 14-footer and a quiet day of fishing, but don't show up expecting to run a big bass boat around.
Single Lane Bottleneck
One lane means you're waiting if somebody ahead of you is fumbling with their trailer. Not usually an issue given the low traffic, but holiday weekends can get awkward in a hurry.
