Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Rarely Crowded
Even on summer Saturdays, you'll almost always find trailer spots open. Thirty-five paved spots feels like overkill for the traffic this launch gets — which is a good thing. Weekday mornings you might have the whole place to yourself.
Ramp Recently Redone
The paved ramp is in great shape — smooth surface, good grade, and a dual skid pier that handles most trailerable boats without drama. It's one of the nicer setups on Mullett Lake, especially compared to some of the older, rougher launches on the east side.
Restroom Roulette
The vault toilet can swing wildly between 'recently serviced' and 'biohazard.' I've seen it spotless early in the season and absolutely wrecked by mid-July. Don't count on it being usable on a busy holiday weekend.
Clean Entry to Deep Water
Mullett Lake drops off nicely from this launch — no silted-in shallows or sandbars to navigate around on your way out. You're in fishable water fast, which makes this a better pick than some of the launches further south where you're dodging weeds for the first quarter mile.
