Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny Lot Fills Fast
Four trailer spots is all you get. On summer weekends, you might roll up to find every spot taken by 8 AM. There's no real overflow area, so if you're not early, you're out of luck.
Ramp Is Decent Now
The ramp got redone a few years back and it's a solid improvement over what was there before. Single lane, but for a quiet inland lake with mostly small boats and kayaks, it moves fine on weekdays.
Wildlife Over Trophies
Don't come here expecting a bass tournament — the fishing is fair at best. What you will get is a peaceful paddle with great blue herons nesting nearby and not much boat traffic to deal with.
Small Lake, Small Boats
This is an inland lake suited for 14-footers, canoes, and kayaks. If you're trailering anything over 18 feet, it's going to feel cramped at the ramp and overkill on the water.
