Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Parking Fills Fast
Only 9 trailer spots, so on a Saturday morning in summer you might find it full by 9 AM. The upside is the light traffic keeps the lake from feeling crowded — it's a tradeoff worth planning around.
Kayak Launch Awkward
There's no separate spot for paddle craft, so you're sharing the single ramp lane with motorized boats. If you're bringing a kayak, try to go on a weekday or launch early before the trailer traffic picks up.
No Wake Narrows
The lake pinches down to a narrow section toward the east side with a no-wake zone. It's the quietest part of the lake and great for fishing, but keep your eyes open — it sneaks up on you if you're not expecting it.
Bring A Trash Bag
There's no trash can on-site. People dump garbage in the vault toilet, which makes it rough in the heat. Pack out what you bring in and you'll help keep this little gem usable.
Solid For Small Boats
The ramp is in good shape and the single lane handles easy in-and-out launches for smaller rigs. It's a relaxed lake — not the place for a tournament crowd. If you want more action, Duck Lake is nearby, but Narrow Lake wins on peace and quiet.
