Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Small But Uncrowded
Six trailer spots sounds tight, but this lake barely draws a crowd. Even on summer weekends you'll usually have the ramp to yourself — it's one of those spots that flies under the radar in Eaton County.
Zebra Mussel Alert
Zebra mussels are confirmed here, so clean your hull, drain your livewell, and dry everything before heading to another lake. The shells can also be rough on bare feet near the ramp — water shoes are a smart call.
Single Lane, No Rush
One lane is all you get, but with the low traffic it's rarely a bottleneck. Smaller boats and kayaks are the norm here — if you're trailering anything over 18 feet, the tight turnaround area will test your patience.
Parking Lot Abuse
The gravel lot has been getting torn up by joyriders doing donuts, which leaves ruts and loose gravel right where you need to maneuver a trailer. Check the surface before you back in — a fresh set of ruts can catch a tire and throw off your alignment to the ramp.
