Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny Lot Fills Fast
Only 4 trailer spots, so if you're heading out on a summer weekend, get there early — by 8 AM you might already be squeezed out. There's no real overflow option nearby.
Ramp Is Solid
Single lane, but the ramp surface is in great shape and the dock is generous enough to stage comfortably. You can get a pontoon or a decent bass boat in and out without drama.
State Park Managed
Interlochen State Park administers this launch, so it's well-maintained but that also means you may need a Recreation Passport on your vehicle. Don't get caught without one — they do check.
Low-Key Marquette County Gem
This isn't a high-traffic destination launch. Weekdays you'll likely have the place to yourself. It's a locals' spot with a quiet, familiar feel — great for small boats and kayaks when you just want to get on the water without any fuss.
