Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Not Really a Park
Don't come here expecting picnic tables and playgrounds — it's basically just a boat launch that happens to be called a park. If you need green space, go elsewhere. If you need river access, this is your spot.
Ramp Etiquette Problems
The ramp gets clogged by people tying down their boats right on the launch instead of pulling forward. On weekends you'll be sitting there waiting while someone fiddles with straps in your way. Get there early or bring patience.
Rough Around the Edges
The whole area feels neglected — infrastructure is aging and the grounds aren't well maintained. It's not the kind of place you want to linger after dark. Launch, do your thing on the Grand, and get out.
Parking Is Deceptive
Despite no official trailer spots on paper, there's enough informal space that parking usually isn't your bottleneck. The ramp congestion from other boaters will slow you down way more than finding a place to park.
