Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Truly Remote
This is deep Iron County backcountry — don't expect cell service or any amenities. It's a nice quiet lake, but you're on your own out here, so plan accordingly.
Small Boats Only
With just one lane and two trailer spots, this is strictly a small boat operation. Perfect for a 14-foot aluminum or a canoe, but don't bother dragging anything bigger up here.
Minimal Competition
The upside of being this remote is you'll almost never fight for the ramp. Even on a holiday weekend, you might see one or two other rigs all day. It's the kind of place where you have the whole lake to yourself.
State Park Access
Administered by Bewabic State Park, so you'll need a Recreation Passport on your vehicle. The road in can be rough gravel — take it slow if you're towing and watch for washboard sections, especially in spring.
