Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Only Three Spots
With just 3 trailer spots, you're in trouble if even one group is slow loading. Weekday mornings are your best bet — weekends in summer this tiny lot fills before 8 AM and there's no real overflow option nearby.
Jet Ski Circus
Summer weekends this lake turns into a jet ski and speedboat free-for-all. If you're bringing a fishing boat, go early weekday or wait until after Labor Day. The lake is small enough that wave action from PWCs reaches every corner.
Ramp Is Solid
Cement ramp with a loading dock, which is a nice touch for a lake this size. Single lane but it's in decent shape — no major cracks or silting issues. You can get a bass boat or pontoon in and out without drama.
State Park Entry
This is inside Fort Custer State Recreation Area, so you'll need a Rec Passport on your vehicle. Easy to forget if you're just running out for a quick trip. The road in is paved and straightforward.
