Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Parking Is Tight
Three trailer spots — that's it. On summer weekends the lot fills by mid-morning, and there's really nowhere to overflow. If you're planning a Saturday trip, get there early or plan for a weekday.
Locals Dominate This Spot
This launch gets heavy use from the neighborhood crowd, and a lot of them are swimmers, not boaters. You'll be sharing the area and sometimes waiting your turn at the single lane while people sort themselves out.
Fishing Right Off The Ramp
Bluegill and bass stack up surprisingly close to the launch. You don't need to run far — some days you can limit out within casting distance of where you put in.
Single Lane Bottleneck
One lane in, one lane out. When someone ahead of you is slow loading or a family is milling around the ramp area, you're just sitting there. Making a lap around the lake while you wait isn't the worst plan — it's a small lake.
