Hidden Gem Access
This is one of those spots most people drive right past. Tucked just outside Newberry on the edge of Dollarville, it's quiet enough that you'll hear loons calling across the flooding most evenings.
Small Ramp, Small Window
One lane and only 8 trailer spots — if two other trucks with trailers show up, you're basically done. Weekday mornings you'll have the place to yourself, but a summer Saturday can get tight fast with zero overflow options.
Rules Posted Elsewhere
Don't bother looking for site rules here — they're only posted over at the East launch. Worth swinging by there first if it's your first time, or you might miss restrictions you didn't know about.
Shallow Flooding Waters
The Dollarville Flooding is exactly what it sounds like — broad, shallow, and weedy. Keep your motor trimmed up and go slow until you know the channels. Submerged stumps and timber are scattered throughout, especially along the edges. A jon boat or small flat-bottom is the move here, not your deep-V.
Sunset Spot Worth Staying For
If you're done fishing by late afternoon, stick around. The sunsets over the flooding are legitimately some of the best in the eastern UP. Bring a chair and a cold drink — you won't regret it.
