Kurick Road Boat Launch

Kurick Road is rutted and can beat up a low-clearance vehicle. If you've got a smaller car pulling a trailer, think twice — it's more of a two-track than a maintained road in spots.

There's a legit steep hill to get down to the river. No actual ramp here — you're hand-launching canoes, kayaks, or small boats. Forget anything you can't muscle down the slope.

Only two trailer spots, but you'll rarely find anyone else here. This is a put-in for people who know the Betsie, not a destination launch. If both spots are taken, you're out of luck — there's nowhere else to park a trailer.

This is really a paddle access point for floating the Betsie downstream toward Frankfort. If that's your plan, it's perfect — quiet water, minimal crowds, and you're on one of the prettiest river stretches in Benzie County. For powered boats, look elsewhere.
