Paddle Craft Sweet Spot
This is really a canoe and kayak lake. It's small and quiet — the day I've been out there, not a single motorboat on the water. If you're looking for a peaceful paddle in Marquette County, this is it.
Parking Is Tight
Three, maybe four vehicles max. That's it. If someone's already got a trailer in there, you're basically out of luck. Get there early on weekends or plan for a weekday trip.
Single Lane Simplicity
One lane, no frills. Fine for dropping a canoe or small jon boat, but don't show up expecting to launch anything over 16 feet without a headache. The approach is narrow and there's no room to maneuver a big rig.
Restroom On Site
There's actually a restroom at the landing, which is a nice surprise for how remote and bare-bones the rest of the setup is. Don't count on it being stocked — bring your own supplies.
