Crowding The quiet one — the more secluded and private of the two upper-lake township parks, reached by a long tree-lined road. Rarely crowded.
Plan B — if this lot is full Wilson Hill Park is the busier upper-lake launch nearby; the Ludington State Park ramp handles larger boats.

Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
The Quiet One
The most secluded launch on Hamlin, reached by a long tree-lined road — the private alternative to nearby Wilson Hill, with swans usually working the shoreline. Google also lists it as "Victory Memorial Park | Boat Launch."
Concrete Ramp, New Dock
A concrete ramp with a wooden L-shaped dock that the township rebuilt recently to handle boats better, plus easy parking for several rigs and trailers down at the lower lot.
Watch the Access Road
Open year-round as long as the road's plowed, but the upper road gets rough in wet weather. It's a true four-season access point — anglers in summer, snowmobilers onto the ice in winter.
Day-Use Park
Picnic pavilion with tables and grills, benches along the waterfront, a playground with swings and a sandbox, an open field, and a hilltop area with a WWI/WWII veterans monument and short hiking trails. Swimming's allowed (there's no developed beach), and a separate short dock gives shore access.
Bare-Bones Facilities
A porta-potty and no drinking water, and no camping; private property borders the park on both sides. Upper Hamlin holds bass, pike, walleye, crappie, and other panfish.
