Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny But Peaceful
This is a small, quiet lake tucked away in Mason County that most people drive right past. One lane and 10 trailer spots is all you get, but honestly you'll rarely compete for space — this isn't a destination lake for the weekend warrior crowd.
Keep It Small
Bring a canoe, kayak, or a small aluminum jon boat. This isn't the place for a 20-foot walleye rig. The ramp is basic and the lake size matches — perfect for a 14-footer with a trolling motor.
Wildlife Everywhere
Bald eagles nest in the area and great blue herons are practically guaranteed. Early morning launches in summer put you on glass-calm water with an incredible sunrise. It feels like you have the whole place to yourself.
Finding It Is Half The Battle
The lake goes by both Pleiness Lake and Lost Lake depending on who you ask, and the signage getting in isn't exactly generous. Plug the coordinates into your phone before you lose signal — cell service gets spotty out here in Eden Township.
