Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
GPS Will Mislead You
Do not blindly follow Google Maps to this launch — it'll route you straight to someone's private driveway. Navigate to the nearest intersection first and look for the access road from there. There's no great signage to help you out either.
Tiny Parking Situation
Four trailer spots is all you get. On a summer Saturday, even a small lake like Brockway can have those filled by mid-morning. If you're bringing a buddy with a separate rig, coordinate or you're out of luck.
Small Lake, Small Ramp
Single lane, no dock, and it's a basic gravel launch that dates back to the 1950s. Fine for aluminum boats and small fiberglass rigs, but I wouldn't try to muscle anything over 18 feet through here. Backing in solo takes some patience with the narrow approach.
Worth It for Pike
Brockway is a quiet little lake that doesn't get hammered with pressure. Decent northern pike fishing, especially early in the season when weeds are still manageable. If you want solitude over amenities, this is the trade-off you're making.
