Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Ramp Needs Work
The single lane could use some grading — it's a bit uneven and rutted, so take it slow backing in. Fine for fishing boats and pontoons, but don't bring anything you'd call 'big.'
Rarely Crowded
Six trailer spots and one lane sounds tight, but this place almost never fills up. The pond just doesn't draw heavy traffic. The only time you might wait is if someone's fumbling at the single lane ahead of you.
Weedy & Shallow
Rogers Dam Pond gets weedy and shallow in spots, especially later in summer. If you're coming strictly for fishing, manage your expectations — some stretches feel more like a lily pad farm than a fishery.
Kayak Takeout Spot
This is a solid takeout if you're paddling down from Gypsy Nickel. There's a dock, an outhouse, and a Citgo within walking distance if you need to refuel yourself after the float.
