Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny Lot, Plan Ahead
Two trailer spots is all you get. If someone's already parked there with a trailer, you're basically out of luck — there's no real overflow area. Weekdays are your best bet, especially early morning.
Single Lane Patience
One narrow lane means you're taking turns if anyone else shows up. Fine for small aluminum boats and kayaks, but I wouldn't try to wrestle anything over 16 feet through here.
Remote and Quiet
This is about as off-the-grid as it gets for a public launch in Menominee County. No cell service to speak of, no amenities. Bring everything you need because there's nothing nearby to bail you out.
Ice Fishing Access
People do use this in winter to get on the ice, but the lake freezes solid and the fishing can be hit or miss. The access road can get sketchy with snow — make sure you've got good tires or four-wheel drive.
