Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny But Peaceful
This is a small, quiet lake that doesn't draw big crowds. If you want solitude and a relaxed day on the water, it delivers — just don't expect a lot of elbow room on the water itself.
No Dock
There's no dock at the launch, so loading and unloading solo can be a hassle, especially with any wind pushing you off the ramp. Bring a long bow line and be ready to get your feet wet.
Parking Fills Fast
Five trailer spots is all you get. On a summer Saturday, even a lake this small can see three or four rigs show up. If the lot's full, you're basically out of luck — there's no obvious overflow area nearby.
Single Lane Basics
One lane, no frills. Fine for small fishing boats and kayaks, but don't try to launch anything over 18 feet or you'll be fighting the tight approach. Back in carefully — the edges of the ramp can be soft and silty.
