Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny But Peaceful
Nine trailer spots and one lane sounds tight, but honestly this place rarely fills up. It's one of the quieter launches in Oakland County — most weekends you'll have the lot nearly to yourself.
Two-Lot Setup
There's an upper and lower parking lot, which is nice for a small launch. If you're pulling a trailer, head straight to the lower lot. The upper lot works fine if you're just dropping a kayak or small jon boat.
No Wake Only
Gas motors are allowed but it's strictly no wake, so don't bring the bass boat here expecting to open it up. This is a trolling-motor kind of lake — perfect for a quiet morning with panfish, not for pulling tubes.
Rec Area Pass Required
This is inside Holly State Recreation Area, so you'll need a valid Recreation Passport on your plate to get in. Easy to forget if you're used to the free township launches scattered around Oakland County.
