Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny Lot, Plan Ahead
Four trailer spots is all you get, and on summer weekends they go fast. If you're not there early morning, you might be stuck waiting for someone to pull out. There's no real overflow area nearby.
Small Lake, Small Ramp
Single lane on a quiet little lake — fine for canoes, kayaks, and small aluminum boats. Don't try bringing anything over 16 feet; the ramp is narrow and the turnaround space is tight.
Loon Territory
Tee Lake has a resident loon population, and early mornings on the water are something special. Keep your distance — they nest along the shoreline and they'll let you know if you're too close.
Rec Area Rules Apply
This is inside Rifle River State Recreation Area, so you'll need a Recreation Passport on your vehicle. Easy to forget if you're just popping in for a quick launch, but they do check.
