Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Carry-In Only Basically
There's no real ramp here — it's unimproved with zero trailer spots and no designated lanes. You can muscle a small jon boat or canoe in, but forget anything over 14 feet. Back your trailer down at your own risk because turning around is a nightmare.
Parking Is Tight
There's barely enough room to park a truck, let alone a truck and trailer. If someone else is already there, you might be blocking them in. Plan on unhooking your trailer and getting creative with where you leave your vehicle.
Small Craft Sweet Spot
Kayaks and canoes are really what this spot is built for. The lake fishes well from a small boat, and it's quiet enough that you'll feel like you have the place to yourself most days. If you're hauling a bass boat, look elsewhere.
No Amenities Whatsoever
No restrooms, no trash cans, nothing. Pack out everything you bring in. The area can get trashy when people don't, and it shows.
Pearl Lake Access Point
This is the only public access to Pearl Lake — all the shoreline north is private homes. The state owns the south half of the lake, so once you're on the water you've got room to move. Just getting on is the hard part.
