Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Tiny But Functional
Five trailer spots sounds tight, but honestly you'll almost never compete for space here. This lake barely draws a crowd — most days you'll have it to yourself.
Shallow Water Warning
Lee Lake is shallow, so don't bring anything with serious draft. A jon boat, small bass boat, or kayak is the move. Bigger rigs are overkill and you'll be dodging the bottom.
Decent Panfish Lake
Don't expect trophies, but the bluegills are solid and there are pike scattered around — mostly smaller ones. Water clarity is impressive, so downsize your line if you're finesse fishing.
Quick Half-Day Spot
This isn't an all-day destination. It's a small, quiet lake in St. Joseph County that's perfect when you want to get on the water for a couple hours without the hassle of a busy ramp. There's a small dock and a pit toilet, so the basics are covered.
