Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Shallow Ramp End
The ramp doesn't extend deep enough for pontoons — you'll have trouble getting your trailer submerged far enough to load without rolling off the concrete. Smaller boats and jon boats are fine, but anything with a deeper draft is going to be a fight.
Aging Infrastructure
The original federal development grant dates back to 1990, and it shows. The ramp surface is past its prime with no improvements on the horizon. Don't expect anything fancy here — just functional enough to get a boat wet.
No Restroom Anymore
There used to be a toilet on-site but it was burned down and never replaced. Plan accordingly, because there's nothing nearby either.
Low Pressure Launch
One lane and 20 trailer spots, but this place almost never feels crowded. You can pretty much roll up any time — weekday or weekend — and get right in. It's a quiet little lake without much tournament traffic or pleasure boat chaos.
