Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Watch Your Motor
The ramp drops off deep right at the end, then the water goes surprisingly shallow fast once you're off the concrete. If you're running a long shaft outboard, get it up quick after launch or you'll be grinding bottom before you know it.
Parking Is Generous
Twenty trailer spots for a single-lane ramp on an impoundment — you're almost never fighting for a space. Even on a decent Saturday morning you'll find room without circling.
Quiet Local Spot
This isn't a high-traffic destination launch. It's mostly locals who know Three Rivers Impoundment. That keeps the weekend chaos way down compared to busier St. Joe River access points, but it also means don't expect a ton of amenities beyond the basics and a porta-john.
Decent Bass Water
The impoundment fishes well for largemouth, especially around the stump fields and shallow flats you can reach from here. There are some legit 5-pound fish in this system if you work the cover right.
