Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
One Lane In/Out
The access road is a single lane — no room to pass. If someone's backing a trailer in while you're trying to leave, somebody's pulling off into the grass. Go slow and keep your eyes up, especially on weekends.
Storm Debris Risk
After storms, expect downed trees or branches right at the ramp. I've shown up on a Sunday to find a large tree completely blocking the launch. DNR will send a crew eventually, but you might be waiting or turning around.
Small Lot Fills Fast
Only 10 trailer spots on an unimproved lot. On a nice Saturday morning you can roll in at 8 and still grab a spot, but by 10 it's tight. No real overflow — once it's full, you're out of luck.
Basic But Functional
Concrete ramp with a single dock on one side. It's bare-bones — no frills, no courtesy pier to speak of beyond that dock. Fine for small to mid-size boats, but don't expect to stage anything complicated with one lane and limited maneuvering room.
