North Lake

North Lake sits in the Huron River watershed in western Washtenaw County. Specific inflows and outflows are minor, but the surrounding drainage feeds into the broader Huron River system that flows east through Ann Arbor to Lake Erie.

As a smaller southern Michigan lake, North Lake typically freezes in winter and sees some ice fishing activity. Always check ice thickness before heading out — southern Michigan lakes can have inconsistent ice during warm spells.
