One wide concrete lane and a floating dock at the end of Cherokee Street — the Youngstown shore's back door to the upper lake, minutes from the creek country where the Econfina and Bear Creek arms braid into cypress.
Bring Everything
No restrooms, no lights, no picnic tables — a trash can is the entire amenity list. Its sibling a mile south adds the comforts; this one just adds you to the water.
Skinny in the Drawdown
The upper lake feels the winter drawdown first. From mid-November to early March, check conditions before trailering here — the dam-end drawdown ramp exists for exactly these months.
Paddler's Pick
For kayaks and canoes headed into the creek arms, this is the practical put-in the Duppie Lane access pretends to be — Duppie has no parking at all, by FWC's own note. Launch here instead and paddle north into the quiet.
