Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
The Prettier Sibling
Same single concrete lane and floating dock as Bayhead North a mile up the shore, but this one adds a picnic table, a light, a portable toilet, and a small sand beach — the upper lake's best spot to watch the sun go down over the water.
Pack-Out Shore
No trash service here either — bring a bag and take everything home, or the beach stops being the reason to come.
Creek Country Launch
You're minutes by water from the mouths of the upper-lake creeks — spring shellcracker sand and summer bream shade close enough for a short evening after work.
Watch the Winter Line
Like everything on the upper lake, the drawdown makes this ramp marginal from mid-November to early March — the dam-end drawdown ramp is the cold-season answer.
