The Floral City Pool Flagship
A single concrete lane with a floating staging dock and by far the biggest trailer lot on the chain — parking for 34 rigs, open around the clock, free. FWC names Duval Island Road as THE access for the Floral City Pool, the southern of the chain's three pools.
Old-Florida Water
The Floral City Pool is the chain at its most classic: tannic water, cypress, pad fields and maiden cane, bass in the vegetation edges and crappie schooling the open pockets in winter. Floral City itself — the avenue of live oaks — is a couple of minutes away.
Pick Your Pool First
The chain's three pools are separated by water-control structures, so you can't run from here to the Inverness or Hernando pools by boat. If your day is on another pool, launch there instead — this ramp serves Floral City water only.
