Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Inverness's Front Door
Two concrete lanes and floating docks right on SR 44 at the edge of Inverness — the county seat that grew up on this pool. Lake Henderson is one of the chain's larger true open-water pools, and this is its main public access.
Town-Water Convenience
You're minutes from downtown Inverness — fuel, food, tackle, and the Withlacoochee State Trail. For a half-day trip with civilized logistics, this is the chain's easiest button.
Winter Crappie, Summer Frogs
FWC's forecast pattern for the chain holds here: plastic worms and weedless frogs in the vegetation for bass, and winter speck fishing in the open pockets. The TrophyCatch ledger says the chain produces genuine giants.
