Off-Grid on Purpose
Luther Hall is the Leon shore's quiet corner — off-grid is the whole idea. A single paved lane with a boardwalk and rebuilt fishing pier, flush restrooms, a water fountain, picnic tables at every campsite, and not much else. That's the appeal.
The $10 Campground
Hall Landing Campground is a sleeper favorite: $10-a-night sites with fire rings, grills, and hot showers, kept by camp hosts who go far beyond the job. It's primitive-style (water, no electric), tent-first — though small campers and pop-ups do squeeze in. Tent pads run hard-packed; bring a thick pad. Raccoons run quality control on unattended coolers.
Ramp Reality Check
Word sometimes goes around that there is no boat ramp here — there is. Both Leon County's park inventory and FWC's statewide ramp database list the single-lane concrete ramp, open 24/7 like all county landings even when the park proper runs sunrise to sunset. The put-in is modest, which may explain the confusion.
Mid-Lake, South Shore
You launch into the same central water Williams serves, two coves east — creek edges, stump lines, and dock-fishing off the pier at first light. Watch the floating logs on windy days; this reservoir sheds timber.
