Twin Basin's Public Door
One county/FWC concrete lane at 1098 Keen Park Road off US 27 — twelve trailer spots, free, portable toilet, launching and retrieval permitted after the 5-to-9 park hours. It launches onto Little Crooked Lake, the 670-acre southern companion, and serves as the fishing community's established front door to the whole Crooked system.
The Passage North
The route from Little Crooked onto the big lake is the local commute — fine for the regulars' rigs in normal water, worth sounding in low spells before trusting anything heavy. Once through, four thousand acres of the county's clearest water open ahead.
Its Own Fishery
Don't just transit it: the little basin's 670 contoured acres fish well in their own right — quieter than the big lake, with its own edges and its own mornings. Some days the commute is the destination.
