The District's Ramp
Run by the Lake Region Lakes Management District — the special district, established 1919, that also operates the chain's famous lock — this single lane on Howard's west shore offers launch and staging docks, three trailer spots, and 24-hour access, free.
Small on Purpose
Three trailer spots set expectations: this is a neighborhood door for the west-side regulars, not a staging ground. When it's full — bedding season mornings, mostly — Roe Park's fifty-eight spots are ten minutes away.
West-Shore Water
The grass lines and pockets along this shore see less traffic than the restaurant side, and the Cannon canal north is close — the quiet quarter of a social lake.
