Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
Named for a Reason
The state inventory calls it 'Lake Pierce Public Boat Ramp (Limited Parking)' and means it: one concrete lane, two trailer spots, no dock, no restroom, free, launching allowed after the 5-to-10 park hours. It exists, it works, and it fills by the second truck.
The Camp Backup Is the Plan
When the two spots are gone — most nice mornings — Cherry Pocket's $2 launch and Jennings' $5 ramp are the actual capacity of this lake, with food, bait, and lodging attached. Treat this ramp as the free early-bird option and the camps as the system.
West-Side Start
From here the open middle and the far vegetation lines spread east — a clean run at dawn, a wind problem by two. Plan the crossing accordingly.
