Ramp Quirks & Etiquette
The Door to Eloise
One short canal from this west-shore ramp lies Lake Eloise — Cypress Gardens' lake, Legoland's lake, the most famous water-ski water on Earth, and a lake with no public ramp of its own. This launch is how boats get there, especially the taller and deeper hulls that can't trust the longer route's bridges. Sixteen trailer spots, launch dock, free, 5 AM to 9 PM.
Excellent Water Under the Hull
You're launching onto one of only a handful of chain lakes the city rates unimpaired with consistently excellent quality — clear-tending, 24 feet deep, and worth fishing before you transit it.
The Big Days
July 4th fireworks over Eloise and raft-up weekends toward Winterset route through this lot — on those days, sixteen spots go early. Everyone else's ordinary Tuesday is your empty ramp.
